Just myself today, so up early for the drive up via Inverness, traffic heavier than expected so didn't get to Braemore Junction until around 9am. The car park mentioned in WalkHighlands had a massive pile of aggregate and lots of no parking signs for Corrieshalloch Gorge. I decided to park in the small layby between the two main car parks for the Gorge instead.

The walk starts a short distance back down the main road following the hill access sign, then passing through a gate you reach the track. Around a kilometre later the track splits beside a small cairn, take the path to the right which makes it way up and around the east of Home Loch, then over a footbridge to join a rough road.

Turning right the track curves round north then east passing some stone ruins eventually leading to another fork in the road. The left I believe is the return track if following the circuit, I headed right. Here the path heads up between the Corbett and Meall Doire Faid, towards the prow there was a really nice waterfall just below where the slope eases off.

From here the going was straightforward, however the wind did pick up a bit down the pass, but you soon reach the small lochans. At this point I decided to head off track and straight uphill as the turn in the path seemed a fair bit off and the going looked ok. I soon rejoined the path leading up to the top of the first Corbett of the day Beinn Enaiglair.

I stopped for an early lunch taking in the really fantastic views all around, including An Teallach and the Fannichs. Instead of retracting my steps, I headed over to the west top before making a direct return south west, being careful to avoid some of the steeper sections to the west, eventually rejoining the track not far above the waterfall. Once back at the car, I had a pitstop at NTS Corrieshalloch Gorge, before heading back to the start point for the second Corbett.

My plan was for a quick up and down starting from Torrandhu bridge, the usual start point for the Eastern Fannichs, as the first section of track is pretty good. So heading over the bridge and then up the track through the gate. After a few kilometers, instead of turning down west, continue until the end of the track.

From here everything didn't go to plan, the first part of the track was very boggy, and the path soon disappeared as I made my way uphill. I had to keep north to avoid some peat hags and by the time I reached the steep rocky section, my legs were complaining somewhat.

Once over the rocky sections, it is a short distance to the summit cairn of Beinn Liath Mhor a' Ghiubhais Li. I disliked the prospect of traipsing through the peat and mud again, so decided to head down the north east side. This turned out to be a good decision, the slope wasn't quite so steep or boggy, except for a small section around the bealach with Meall Daimh.

Instead of heading up and over Meall Daimh, I headed north aiming for the north edge of the hill, then aimed towards the small square shaped enclosure with the deer fence. There is no longer a gate, but there are some horizontal planks where the gate was to help you climb over the fence, then a short walk to the main A835 road, then around a kilometer back to the car.
